TASCS’s 2008 Annual Conference Draws a Record Crowd
AUSTIN (August 15, 2008) – Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Society (TASCS) President Joe Zasa issued the following statement regarding the new Ambulatory Surgery Center Fee Guideline issued by the Texas Department of Insurance – Division of Workers’ Compensation (TDI-DWC):
"Texas patients will greatly benefit from the new Texas workers' compensation ASC fee schedule. The new fee schedule represents how the [TDI-DWC] did an incredible job of listening to the ASC industry and taking into account what is required to deliver the best services possible to patients. A special thanks goes out to TASCS's Ad Hoc Committee on Workers' Compensation for all of their efforts to make this new fee schedule a reality."
TASCS will provide a white paper outlining the changes available in the near future. In addition, TASCS will provide its members with a rate calculator.
