TASCS’s 2010 Annual Conference Review
HOUSTON (November 12, 2010) – Four the second year in a row, the Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Society (TASCS) concluded its annual conference with over 200 attendees and a sold out exhibit hall.
The keynote speakers included Bill Prentice, the new executive director of the ASC Association, and Ipsita Smolinski, president of Capitol Street.
"With much uncertainty about the health care industry due to PPACA and other industry changes, our speakers provided the Texas ASC industry with an expert view of what the future holds,” TASCS Executive Director Bobby Hillert said.
The Gold sponsors included Access MediQuip, CNA HealthPro, Genascis, and Physician Supply Company. Surgical Notes and VHA were silver sponsors. The Bronze sponsors included IntelliSound, Collect RX, iMDsoft, Owens & Minor, and Mediplant Funding.
