New Year, New Ways To Get Involved With TASCS

From committees to events, there are numerous ways to collaborate with the Texas ASC Society!

The Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Society (TASCS) serves as the public policy advocate for the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) industry.

ASCs are healthcare facilities that perform outpatient surgical procedures for patients who do not require an overnight stay. The first one opened in 1970, and there are now more than 5,900 Medicare-certified ASCs in America, performing 22.5 million surgical procedures each year.

This sector is known for its efficiency, patient satisfaction, convenience, specialties, and affordability, and TASCS works to support and spread awareness of these high-quality, cost-effective centers.

Since TASCS is a member-supported advocacy association, there are so many ways to get involved. Benefits of belonging to a professional organization include regular & relevant updates, events centered around education & professional development, networking with potential customers, partners & investors, and leadership opportunities.
