2014 Election Update | Jaime Capelo

The 2014 Elections will mark a crossroads in Texas politics.governor rick perry

When our longest serving Governor in Texas history, Governor Rick Perry, decided not to run for re-election as Governor, but instead to focus on national opportunities, the chain reaction began! Virtually every state-wide elected official either announced they were retiring or running for another office, except Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst who is running for re-election but has attracted the most candidates. There will be competitive races for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller, Land Commissioner, Agriculture Commissioner, Railroad Commissioner and even the Supreme Court.
