Dianne Bourque
Dianne Bourque, RN, CNOR, has 35 years of nursing experience, with the last two decades in ambulatory surgical settings. She began as a QUAD A surveyor in 2008 and is now a member of their clinical faculty, the Standards Committee, Co-Chair of the Investigations Committee, and serves as a Board Director. She is an active member of AORN, SGNA, and ASPAN. With her unique perspective on regulatory and accreditation requirements for healthcare facilities, she provides meaningful compliance education and clinical coaching to help organizations establish a culture of exceptional patient safety.

Todd Currier, CEO, Administrator and ASCA Board President
Todd Currier is a seasoned healthcare executive and the CEO/Administrator of a nationally recognized ambulatory surgery center. He currently serves as President of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA), representing and advocating for the advancement of outpatient surgical care across the nation.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare, Todd has built a reputation for excellence in clinical operations, strategic administration, and financial stewardship. His leadership philosophy centers on cultivating high-performing teams, fostering values-driven cultures, and implementing sustainable business practices that enhance patient outcomes while driving organizational growth.

Kristie Caviness
Kristie Caviness is the manager of the Employer Engagement and Community Outreach (EECO) team in the Workforce Development Division of the Texas Workforce Commission. The EECO team is directly responsible for the Skills Development Fund (SDF), Self Sufficiency Fund (SSF), High Demand Job Training (HDJT) and Texas Industry Partnership (TIP). The primary goal for these grants is to connect businesses and our partners (community colleges, workforce boards, and TEEX) to provide the needed training for Texans to stimulate the Texas economy. Kristie brings over 25 years of extensive experience in marketing, brand development/management, promotions, and corporate operations with proven leadership skills. She has worked for a variety of business types including economic development and the travel/tourism industry. A Texas Tech University graduate with a BA in Advertising & Public Relations, she enjoys all things red and black! Kristie resides in Georgetown with her husband, Randall.
John Goehle, MBA, CASC, CPA
John Goehle is the Chief Operating Officer and partner with Ambulatory Healthcare Strategies, LLC - a Rochester, New York-based Regulatory and Accreditation Compliance Consulting company and the host of the ASC Podcast with John Goehle available on iTunes and Google Play and anywhere Podcasts are available.
Prior to forming AHS, Mr. Goehle developed and managed two Rochester New York-based surgery centers, and provided management consulting services for a wide range of health care organizations, primarily in the Northeast.
Mr. Goehle has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh Scotland, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Ithaca College in Upstate New York. He holds the prestigious Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) credential. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. Mr. Goehle is also an accreditation surveyor with the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC).
Mr. Goehle is also is frequent speaker on health care finance, technology and administration and has authored or co-authored eight books related to the ASC Industry including Ambulatory Surgery Center Governance - A Guide for Ambulatory Surgery Center Owners & Governing Body Members and The Survey Guide for ASCs – A Guide to the CMS Conditions of Coverage & Interpretive Guidelines for Ambulatory Surgery Centers. He is a former board member with the Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association and one of the founders of the New York State Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
Ashley McClellan, DHA, FACHE
Dr. Ashley McClellan is an experienced senior executive with over 18 years’ experience in Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer roles across three organizations for HCA Healthcare, including serving as CEO of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas 2015-2019, before serving as CEO at Research Medical Center, Research Psychiatric Center and a College of Nursing 2019-2023. She then transitioned and launched her own company as Founder and CEO of MedCurate in 2023. MedCurate replaces traditional healthcare staffing agencies with a digital marketplace that is mutually beneficial for healthcare providers and organizations…think of MedCurate as the “Uber for Healthcare Staffing”.
Ashley attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) where she obtained her BBA in Finance and BA in Spanish. She received her Master's in Hospital Administration and MBA from Texas Woman's University, and Doctor of Health Administration in 2024. Dr. McClellan is a Fellow and Board Certified by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and serves on several boards including Children’s Mercy Health System, Young Men’s Service League-Kansas City, Young President’s Organization of Kansas City, and SMU Cox School of Business Alumnae Board. Ashley joined faculty at the University of Kansas School of Medicine to educate future healthcare leaders in their Masters program Fall 2025.

Woody Moore
Woody is the Founder of the Texas ASC Society accepting its Founder’s Award in 2024. He also served as TASCS’ inaugural Executive Director. He also founded the Hawai’i ASC Association and the new Oklahoma ASC Alliance. He is a semi-retired ASC Consultant with expertise in partnership and licensed facility development. In 1994 Woody was dubbed “The Physician’s Advocate” by surgeons. More recently he was named by Becker’s ASC Review as a “CEO To Know”. Woody is excited to be the Host of his sector-disrupting DIY ASC Podcast.
Vanessa Sindell, RN, BSN, MSN, CAIP
Vanessa Sindell is a Registered Nurse with over 22 years of experience across various specialties, including critical care, med-surg, and outpatient surgery. A significant portion of her career has been devoted to Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). She has served as a Senior Consultant with VMG Health, since 2018. Prior to her current role, Vanessa served as the Director of Nursing at a high-volume surgery center, where she refined her expertise in clinical operations and ASC management. Her comprehensive knowledge in ASC development, licensing, certification, accreditation, compliance, software implementation, and financial and operational efficiency establishes her as a subject matter expert in the field. Additionally, Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master’s in Nursing Leadership, and is CAIP certified.
Amanda Whitener
With over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, Amanda has built a career centered on delivering financial and operational value across the healthcare continuum. Starting her healthcare career in life and health insurance, she gained a practical understanding of healthcare options, financial risk, and how to partner with clients to improve outcomes.
Amanda went on to join nimble, where she served as Senior Manager of Client Services, partnering with ASCs to optimize revenue cycle performance and implement solutions aimed at maximizing cash per case. In that role, she successfully onboarded and managed a portfolio of high-caliber clients, gaining deep expertise in the ASC space.
Now serving as Senior Director of Client Development at nimble, Amanda focuses on expanding strategic partnerships and helping ASCs leverage a comprehensive suite of products and solutions to drive financial growth. Known for translating complex revenue cycle strategies into actionable insights, she continues to be a trusted partner to organizations seeking measurable results and long-term success.
Michelle Coalson, MBA, MSN, RN, CPHQ
Michelle Coalson is the Manager for Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) accreditation at DNV Healthcare. Michelle has been with DNV since September 2016. She remains active as a Clinical and Generalist Surveyor, Team Lead, and System Team Lead. Michelle has always been passionate about patient safety and quality of care. Prior to joining DNV, she was the Accreditation Coordinator and then Director of Quality Improvement at an acute care hospital in Georgia. Michelle is a Registered Nurse and received her MSN/MBA from Thomas University in 2011. She holds CPHQ and HACP-CMS certifications.
Lisa Nagle, RN, BSN
Lisa Nagle is a Senior Consultant based in Chicago, IL, and a highly experienced Registered Nurse with 24 years of clinical nursing, including 19 years in outpatient surgery. She has been instrumental in developing, managing, securing and maintaining licensure, accreditation, and Medicare certification for single and multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).
Lisa’s expertise spans ASC development, operations, compliance, staff training, infection control, risk management, DEA compliance, and safety. She has implemented electronic medical record and inventory management software across multiple centers. In her clinical and leadership roles—circulating nurse, pre/PACU, sterile processing, pre-admission testing, Director of Nursing, and Administrator—she has successfully led the establishment of several ASCs.
Additionally, Lisa has served as a legal nurse consultant and expert witness, advising on healthcare standards and regulations. She is a member of AORN and ASCA, currently pursuing her Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) certification.
Lisa earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing in Colorado Springs, CO, and her BSN from the University of Phoenix. She is a Registered Nurse (RN) with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Deborah Edelman, MPH
Deborah is the Senior Director, Standards Compliance and Development for AAAHC. She has worked for AAAHC for more than 10 years, during which she has served in various roles, including managing accreditation operations and supporting surgical clients. In this capacity, she has processed hundreds, if not thousands, of applications, survey reports, plans of correction, and change notifications for scores of clients.
In her current role, Deborah leverages her regulatory and operational expertise to oversee our Medicare Deemed Status Program and state recognition agreements, ensuring AAAHC’s continued compliance with program and regulatory requirements. Deborah also oversees Standards development across all AAAHC accreditation and certification programs.
Rick Ngo MD FACS
Dr. Ngo is an independent General/Hernia Surgeon with Texas Hernia & Surgical Specialists in Houston, TX. His clinical focus area is ambulatory Minimally Invasive Hernia Surgery. Dr. Ngo is extremely active in medical/physician leadership and serves on the Board of Directors for Townsen Memorial Health System, the Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, and the American Cancer Society Houston Area. He also is a member of several committees with the American Hernia Society, the Harris County Medical Society, and the Texas Medical Association.
Eric Woomer
Eric Woomer is a governmental affairs consultant and lobbyist with extensive senior leadership experience advising legislators at the state and national level as well as business interests ranging from Fortune 100 companies to trade associations to family-owned businesses. Eric has served as Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to three Texas state senators, a Congressional Press Secretary, and aide to a U.S. Senator. He offers his clients tactical political counsel as well as pragmatic solutions to achieve their policy goals.
