The core focus of the Preferred Business Partner (PBP) program is to identify innovative organizations that are committed to fostering operational excellence by providing value added services to the ambulatory surgery centers in Texas. Through a deliberate market assessment process, the TASCS PBP program matches issue-specific member needs with products and/or services with the intention of providing Texas ASC’s with go-to-market, innovative vendor solutions.

This program was established to provide cutting edge and cost-effective solutions for member ASC’s. The business partners selected are expected to meet high-quality standards and offer products or services that help health care facilities control costs, recover revenue, reduce operating and capital expenses, improve management and quality, increase productivity, develop staff resources and apply new strategies. Through the due diligence process, TASCS staff performs the necessary evaluation and analysis of the potential partner, a member committee also reviews, and findings are presented to the TASCS Board for final review and approval.
